Post Graduate Diploma in Management
The two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme enables management aspirants acquire the necessary hard and soft skills to become market-ready management professionals. It is designed to meet industry needs. Since only universities under the University Grants Commission (UGC) are authorised to offer degrees, the programme is called a diploma rather than a degree. AICTE-primarily overseen private business schools as well as independent ones are authorised to grant diplomas in lieu of degrees. Is it the same as earning an MBA? Of course! It's safe to argue that PGDM programmes offer value beyond the standard MBA curriculum, and highly selective employers seek for candidates who can deliver on this.
