Master of Arts Journalism & Mass Communication
Print, electronic, and new media are the areas of specialisation for two years of coursework leading to an M.A. in journalism and mass communication. The All India Council for Technical Education, located in New Delhi, has authorised this course (AICTE). The three-year M.A. programme in journalism and mass communication is specifically created to get students ready for the rapidly changing media and communication landscape.
The programme framework is designed to provide students with an ideal combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in areas such as creative writing, radio communication, editing, reporting, and more. Students are encouraged to prepare research projects, short films, and portfolios as tasks throughout this programme. Students participate in both indoor and outdoor activities to improve their media communication abilities.
